The Medieval Pleasure Garden

This 8’x 10′ space has been designed in the style of a 14th century English pleasure garden that could be found at a nobleman’s estate. 13th century gardener Pietro de’Crescenzi would have considered this quite tiny. His ideal size of a pleasure garden for a minor noble was between 70 and 100 meters square.
